Do the archiving people have storage hosted outside the US for which nobody inside the US can arrange deletion?  Because if they don't those archives exist until the Dear Leader notices them and decides they should not.

YesI'm naïvely assuming that relatively centralised things like the internet archive will be the way things get preserved.  But I don't have much faith in the ability of even very large numbers of other people to keep things long-term.
