We don't like to hear the word “vampire” around here; we're trying to improve our public image. Building a kindly, avuncular, benevolent image; “interdependence” is the keyword – “enlightened interdependence”.

Life in all its rich variety, take a little, leave a little. However, by the inexorable logistics of the vampiric process they always take more than they leave – and why, indeed, should they take any?

it's a small consolation that all longevity proponents end up dying relatively early. Often the cures they promote and swear by are the cause of death in the end.

A healthy life, positive attitude, laughter, love, and adventurous spirit can make you wealthier than most of the Forbes 100.  Facing death with few regrets is amazing empowering.

Only the stupid new-money billionaires open their mouths at all. The quiet ones know the pitchfork mobs are out there and are already angry about the continuous degradation of quality of life standards since 1980.

I take some solace in the fact that, deep down, there are some people for whom no amount of money or earthly security will assuage their abject fear of death. I hope they cross the bar in pure terror, alone and afraid. It's what they deserve.
